The fuel station is built on a site belonging to the Police Department and was developed as a fuel station in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited. The DGP said that the fuel station would be open for all. Thakur on Monday inaugurated a new fuel station at Nagarampalem. The income from the fuel station would be used for the welfare of former policemen and their families. The Guntur Urban Police observed the day on the premises of the District Police Office on Monday.
