CHINTALAPUDI (WEST GODAVARI): Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu once again criticized the Central government for not helping Andhra Pradesh Speaking at the Grama Darsini programme here on Tuesday, Chandrababu Naidu accused the Central government of ignoring the state after bifurcation. He said that the government was delaying the railway zone, Dugarajapatnam Port , Steel plant at Kadapa and establishment of Tribal University and other institutions. “The issue is now pending before the Central government. The welfare schemes for the BCs under Aadarana scheme is also being implemented despite the financial crisis,” he said.The Chief Minister also promised monthly stipend to the unemployed youth and said that the government would also provide skill training and help the youth get some job.Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the drinking water scheme at Nagireddigudem village near the Tammileru reservoir.

The fund allocation too is meagre to the State and was not as expected to complete the developmental initiatives, he said.He criticized the Central government for not sanctioning metro rail for Visakhapatnam and Amaravati, petro chemical complex at Kakinada, Visakhapatnam-Chennai industrial corridor and other bifurcation benefits were not extended to the State, he said.Despite the non-cooperation from the Central government, the State had achieved better growth during the last four years, he said and thanked the government employees for standing by the government to develop the state after bifurcation.The Chief Minister listed out the welfare initiatives of the government in the last four years and reiterated that his government was committed to get reservations for Kapus. “The issue is now pending before the Central government. I am ready to fight with the government and get reservations for Kapus,” the Chief Minister said.The Chief Minister promised Anna Canteen for Chintalapudi town and 100-bed hospital, besides drinking water and housing. He said that the government had decided to establish 300 Anna Canteens in the State of which 60 were already established and working.Chandrababu Naidu further said that the government would continue the welfare initiative of financial support for students for higher studies in foreign countries.
