Visitors having a look at bonsai plants on display at the Bonsai exhibition in Vijayawada on Saturday. Bonsai masters Hemanth Shah and G. Madhusudan Reddy conducted a training session for enthusiasts who turned up at the free training session. Amaravati Development Corporation chairperson D. Lakshmi Parthasarathy on Saturday offered all support including a site for the establishment of a bonsai garden in the Sakhamuru biodiversity park to the newly established Amaravati Bonsai Society (ABS). “Since bonsai trees need protection and care, the glass house coming up in Sakhamuru will be an ideal place to host the garden. We are ready to offer any site [for the bonsai society],” Ms. Lakshmi said calling upon the society to lend its expertise to the corporation.
