A man was injured when part of a foot overbridge fell on him, near the railway station on Saturday. Railway authorities rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to the Government General Hospital (GGH). Railway officials said a portion of the bridge, connecting Panja Centre and DRM office, collapsed while he was walking on it. The bridge was partly repaired during Krishna Pushkarams. His condition is stated to be stable.
