more-in Capgemini, a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation, has absorbed a record 202 engineering students of Vishnu Institute of Technology, Bhimavaram. “This is the first time that the company has selected such large group of students from a single college in one go in A.P. and TS ,” said principal D. Suryanarayana, in a statement. He said the selected students would benefit monetarily as the company representatives would impart the initial training on the college premises. Last year, some 70 companies visited the college for campus placements, he said. This year, so far firms like Thermax, Duta Software, Kony Labs, John Deere, TCS Codevita, Hansa Solutions, Value Labs, Incessant, Maq Software, Mistay, TCS Digital, TCS Pega, Arteantech and IBM have absorbed students from the college. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Nimeleaps, GGK Technologies, TCS Ninja, Delax, NCR and ADM were expected to visit this year. He attributed the success to the training imparted to students in coding, aptitude, reasoning and communication skills.
