Andhra Pradesh SP drives his men on their last working day

GUNTUR: The three police officials, who retired from the service on Wednesday, were virtually on cloud nine when they were given a befitting farewell by none other than their boss, Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao The urban district SP Vijaya Rao surprised assistant sub-inspector G Venkata Kumar, constables T Nageswara Rao and Shaik Amzad on their last working day in the service when he asked his men to take rear seat and opted to drive them around. The SP took them around in the office premises in the vehicle before felicitating them in the presence of their family members. The constables were overwhelmed with the SP’s gesture and thanked him for giving them an unforgettable gift of their life. “I can’t forget it for life as SP himself drove the vehicle by making me sit along with him,” said ASI G Venkata Kumar while tears rolling out.SP asked the administration officials to clear all the pending retirement benefits of the retiring men without any delay. The SP complimented the services extended by the three men during their long stint in the department.
