Land for inland water ways on priority: Chief Secy Anil Chandra Punetha

The Chief secretary immediately directed the energy principal secretary Ajay Jain to take appropriate action to relocate the powerlines.Guntur district joint collector AMD Imtiaz, Krishna district joint collector Vijay Krishnan were also present. He said the permanent terminals would be coming up at three places.After going through the presentation of IWW project engineers, the chief secretary asked the officials to pool up 8.57 acres in Makthyala, 5.5 acres in Ibrahimpatnam and 4.62 acres in Harischandrapuram villages in Krishna and Guntur districts. When IWW project officials sought allocation of another three acres for construction of official bungalows in capital city Amaravati, chief secretary assured to refer the issue to the cabinet sub-committee on land allocations in capital city area.The IWW officials said that the 11kv power transmission line at Tadepalle APTDC guest house, 400kv power line between Guntupalli and Tallayapalem villages have become hurdle to the initiating the IWW works.
