VIJAYAWADA: You don't expect a 352-year-old man to be alive and fit enough to stand in a queue to cast his vote in an election. Most of them were new voters applying for their voter identification cards.. The study has found that about 15% entries are either invalid, illegal, duplicate or repeated. Such a huge margin of error is enough to swing the mandate in any election. Of the 3.6 crore registered voters in Andhra Pradesh, Reddy and his team have put the number of affected voters at 52.67 lakh.According to the study, there are more than 25 lakh entries where the voter's name and that of the father or husband, are correct, but other details are wrong.
