Andhra Pradesh: Small IT firms are equally important to generate jobs, says Nara Lokesh

GUNTUR: Attracting small and mid-size IT firms is equally important along with the big-ticket investments, IT minister Nara Lokesh has observed that arrival of more firms will develop an eco-system and generate more jobs. They could bag the big-ticket firm HCL technologies to Gannavaram by offering land.“We needed to support both big and small firms. While creating infrastructure like lands and roads which are important for big firms to set up their shops, giving tax concessions and subsidies would help the small companies. Our aim is to create more jobs to our talented youth right in our own state,” said Lokesh.He said that they had already help more than 35000 youth to get jobs in the local IT firms and inching close to his target of one lakh jobs. He said that they would be starting the training centres by the month end.He launched GT Konnect India pvt ltd, GT Konnect India Pvt Ltd, Parikaram IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, M/s Teck Scape, Trendsoft Technologies and Diagno Smart Solutions in the IT towers.

Lokesh added that the state government was determined to extend full support to the small and mid-sized firms to make them stabilize and grow big.Lokesh inaugurated five IT firms in the IT towers near Tadepalle on Wednesday.Addressing the gathering, he said that the government was insisted the small IT firms which were seeking land to first set up their shop and create jobs to get the land. They could bag the big-ticket firm HCL technologies to Gannavaram by offering land.“We needed to support both big and small firms. While creating infrastructure like lands and roads which are important for big firms to set up their shops, giving tax concessions and subsidies would help the small companies. Our aim is to create more jobs to our talented youth right in our own state,” said Lokesh.He said that they had already help more than 35000 youth to get jobs in the local IT firms and inching close to his target of one lakh jobs. He said that they would launch the second phase in the Medha towers shortly as the first-phase was packed with the companies.Lokesh said that the government was not leaving the unemployed with monthly allowance but giving them skill developmental training to help them to get jobs. He said that they would be starting the training centres by the month end.He launched GT Konnect India pvt ltd, GT Konnect India Pvt Ltd, Parikaram IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, M/s Teck Scape, Trendsoft Technologies and Diagno Smart Solutions in the IT towers.
