Naxal attack: Court grants NIA custody for three accused

Already 10 others have been arrested and placed under judicial custody. They soon arrested four of the accused involved in murdering TDP MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and former MLA Siveri Soma on September 23, 2018.Officials are probing further to trace the network involved in the case. VIJAYAWADA: The NIA court on Thursday granted National Investigation Agency (NIA), a 4-day custody of three accused involved in the Naxal attack that claimed two TDP leaders last year.The three persons identified as Subba Rao Iswari and Shoban are expected to be grilled to gather further details on the Maoist network working in the Andhra-Orissa border.The court also remanded the remaining three accused to judicial custody till January 31. The central agency took up the investigation back on December 2018 after the ministry of home affairs ordered the same back in November 2018.
