CM Naidu hands over land allotment letters to star hotels

Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday handed over land allotment letters to five star hotels in the capital region. With this, the number of hotels proposed in the capital region has increased to 16. It will have 10 lakh sq ft office space spread over 15 floors.Meanwhile, addressing the public after the unveiling of NTR statue at Sattenapalle, assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao said only Naidu’s leadership can save the state from slipping into another crisis.“Vested interests are looking to scuttle development in the state.

Naidu directed the officials to provide district cooling system, gas, water, power, road and fibre grid systems in the capital region.CRDA commissioner Ch Sridhar said that a delegation from the United Arab Emirates visited Amaravati to develop district cooling system, which they are at present operating at the world trade centre in Dubai and Itihad towers in Abu Dhabi.The district cooling system with 40,000 tonnes capacity, to be set up in Amaravati, will emerge as the second biggest district cooling system in the world.The government decided to construct an advocate block at a cost of Rs 23 crore at the judicial complex in the capital region.An IT park will be developed at Venkatayapalem at a cost of Rs 448 crore.
