Andhra Pradesh: Hi-end campaign vehicle for CM is ready to hit the roads

GUNTUR: A high-tech campaign vehicle is ready for chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s public rallies in the coming weeks.The vehicle has been designed and readied by city-based automobile designers and makers, Jayalakshmi Designs.However, the design has been finalised after weeks of discussions with the core team of the chief minister.“The vehicle has high-end electronic gadgets including CCTV, live cameras to telecast chief minister’s public meetings live on the massive digital televisions fixed to the vehicle itself,” Jayalakshmi Designs' managing director Marni Naraiah Chowdary told TOI on Saturday.He said that they have switched to Eicher truck from the previous Isuzu and Mahindra vehicles only after chief minister’s directive.He said that they have used Eicher Truck to fabricate the campaign vehicle following the advice of the chief minister.The high-end LED television sets fixed on both sides of the vehicle would be clearly visible even in the day light. He explained that the massive wall-sized LED televisions would present crystal clear picture to attract the audience.Interestingly, Jayalakshmi Designs is supplying campaign vehicles to all the political parties on demand.The vehicles are designed to facilitate the candidates and their close aides to get to the the podium without any difficulty.The truck would accommodate at least 25-30 people which could also serve the security demands of the candidates in the elections.Chowdary said that UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav had also used their vehicles for the campaigns in the last elections.He said that they have supplied about 69 vehicles to different candidates during the recently-concluded Telangana elections and 45 vehicles to the candidates in Karnataka.
