All measures in place for Radhasapthami

TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, chief vigilance and security officer Gopinath Jatti held a series of meetings with various departments within the TTD in the run-up to the Radhasapthami festival. Tirupati: Anticipating heavy crowds for the ‘Mini Brahmotsavams’, slated to be celebrated on the eve of the annual Radhasapthami at the sacred abode of Lord Venkateswara on Tuesday, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has made elaborate arrangements for the grand festival. The series of processions will begin with the Surya Prabha vahanam at 5.30 am, followed by Chinna Sesha vahanam at 9 am, the most revered Garuda vahanam at 11 am, Hanumantha vahanam at 1 pm, Chakrasnanam at 2 pm, Kalpavruksha vahanam at 4 pm, Sarvabhoopala vahanam at 6 pm and finally conclude with the Chandra Prabha vahanam at 8 pm. The hill shrine wore a festive look on the auspicious eve with giant electrical illuminations depicting various mythological images of Lord Sri Maha Vishnu and his two divine consorts in addition to special floral arrangements.Lord Malayappa Swamy will be taken out in seven different colourful processions on various celestial carriers right from dawn to dusk on Tuesday.
