Tirupati: Congress president Rahul Gandhi will kick-start the poll campaign of the party in the state from Tirupati on Friday as the Congress party desperately attempts to revive its fortune in AP at least in the 2019 polls.According to manifesto committee chairman and former MP Kanumuri Bapi Raju, Rahul will arrive in a special flight at 11:50 am on Friday and head straight to Tirumala temple where he will offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara.At 3 pm, Rahul will be addressing a massive public meeting at Sri Venkateswara university's Tarakarama stadium where he will reiterate the party's commitment in according SCS to AP if voted to power.Along with Rahul, Pondicherry chief minister V Narayanasamy, Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and several ministers from Congress-ruled states are slated to take part in the public meeting.
