Denied ticket, Jagan’s uncle Subba Reddy stays away from campaign

YV Subba Reddy on Thursday said he was in Hyderabad to oversee party-related work and taking up charge of East Godavari district. Ongole: Former MP and YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s uncle YV Subba Reddy’s sudden disappearance from election campaign is creating ripples in the constituency.Insiders say that Subba Reddy is staying away from the campaign as he was sidelined in the party. Making Jagan the CM is top of my agenda,” Subba Reddy asserted. Jagan, however, refused to budge and asked him to keep Ongole seat vacant.When Magunta Srinivasula Reddy delayed joining the party, Subba Reddy had again requested Jagan for the seat. Subba Reddy suspects that Ongole Town assembly candidate and his nephew Balineni Srinivasa Reddy was behind Jagan denying ticket to him.Moreover, he even chose to stay away from Jagan’s house warming function held in Tadepalle last month.
