Lok Sabha polls 2019: Nara Lokesh files nomination from Mangalagiri

MANGALAGIRI: The Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh filed his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha polls on Friday. Speaking to the locals, Lokesh said that it was his privilege to contest from the holy town of Mangalagiri . “Jai Chandrababu, Jai Lokesh, Jai TDP,” slogans reverberated the town.A jubilant Lokesh wished the locals with folded hands and sought their support to the TDP.After submission of papers, Lokesh launched his campaign in the town. The huge turnout of TDP workers brought the normal life to a grinding halt .Prior to leaving from home, minister Lokesh took the blessings of his parents-chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Bhuwaneswari in Undavalli. Almost all the roads leading to local tehsildar’s office were literally packed with the party workers either dressed in yellow or carrying yellow flags.

He along with wife Brahmani held special prayers. He visited Sri Sitaramaswamy temple in Tadepalle and offered prayers.Police had a tough day in managing the crowds as they outnumbered the capacity of the streets in the small town. With hundreds of TDP fans joining the rally on bikes, senior leaders joined the rally and managed the young cadres. “Jai Chandrababu, Jai Lokesh, Jai TDP,” slogans reverberated the town.A jubilant Lokesh wished the locals with folded hands and sought their support to the TDP.After submission of papers, Lokesh launched his campaign in the town. Speaking to the locals, Lokesh said that it was his privilege to contest from the holy town of Mangalagiri . He said that he will be available to the locals 24x7 and 365 days. “You can directly approach me with any grievance. You can simply send your grievance to my mobile number and expect the solution in next 24 hours,” Lokesh promised.He said that bringing pure drinking water to all the households in the city would be his priority and he would complete the drinking water project that suits the requirements of Mangalagiri town with in a year after winning the election. He said that he would also take personal care to see every eligible person receive the benefits of the government welfare programmes
