Tirupati: Even as chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh filed nomination papers on Friday, all eyes were on their affidavits.The income of Naidu has gone up four-fold in five years despite bifurcation blues. In his I-T return for 2017-18, Naidu has an income of Rs 64.73 lakh. In 2012-13, his income was Rs 14.88 lakh.Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari 's income in 2017-18 stood at Rs 13.45 crore while her income in 2012-13 was Rs 2.30 crore.Naidu has two residential properties, including plot no. 1310, Road No 65, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, in a total area of 1,225 square yards with a built-up area of 14,950 sq ft.The Andhra chief minister spent Rs 7.99 cr as an investment towards development and construction on the land which he bought for Rs 1.76 lakh in 1985. The property’s market value was shown at Rs 19.55 crore.He also has an ancestral residential property at Shesapuram village in Naravaripalli hamlet in Chandragiri mandal of Chittoor district, measuring 0.97 cents with a built-up area of 3,950 sq ft. While 1/4th share was inherited, 2/4 share was received as a gift from his siblings. The approximate value of this property is put at Rs 41.94 lakh.Under immovable assets category, The TDP supremo owns Rs 19.96 crore while his wife Bhuvaneswari has assets worth Rs 74.29 crore in different locations.In the movable assets category, Naidu has Rs 18,400 cash in hand and Rs 44.96 lakh as deposits in banks and other financial institutions.Naidu still owns his favourite Ambassador car bought for Rs 2.22 lakh in 1994.On the other hand, Naidu's wife Bhuvaneswari has Rs 92,700 in cash, Rs 30,000 as fixed deposit. As vice-chairperson and managing director of family-owned Heritage Foods, she holds 1,06,61,652 shares @ Rs 511.90 per share worth Rs 545,76,99,659.She also has shares in other unlisted companies, including Heritage Finlease Rs 1000, Megabid Finance & Investment Pvt. Ltd Rs 22,49.900 and Nirvana holdings Pvt Ltd valued at Rs 3,28,80,000.She has receivables to the tune of Rs 19,43,93,231 + PF - Rs 2,76,23,948 and gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 2,19,23,718.Chandrababu also owns Rs 47.38 lakh worth movable assets while his wife owns Rs 573,84,17,434 movable assets.Under liabilities to the public, financial institutions, government category, Naidu has a housing loan jointly held with his son Nara Lokesh at Bank of Baroda and the outstanding dues is shown as Rs 5.16 crore. He also has an outstanding loan Rs 8.89 lakh to be paid to Lokesh.In addition to all of this, Naidu has one case pending against him registered at Dharmabad police station in Maharashtra in 2010 when he led a TDP delegation to visit Babli dam but was booked by the Maharashtra police.
