Alongside the dirt road neglected for years, a huge multi-storeyed building of Roads and Buildings Department is coming up. Every day hundreds of people visit the transport office for various purposes. ‘Worst experience’ “We can’t ride fast or go slow on the stretch. We have to balance the vehicle without stopping. This looks like one of the worst roads in the city,” a visitor to RTA office said. Not only public but the officials of RTA office are also facing problems owing to the poor condition of the road. The road was once closed for public use due to various reasons and official had to enter the road from rear side near Bandar Canal. The road is supposed to be maintained by the civic body.
