3 held for duping youths with false job promise

VIJAYAWADA: Three people, including two women, were arrested for cheating people in the name of jobs and investments. He paid Rs 33 lakh to the trio and after getting the money they started to avoid the calls from Narayana. This is not the first time that the trio had cheated people in the name of investments, loans and jobs. The police came to know that the trio was operating with similar modus operandi since 2004 and many cases are pending against them in Jubilee Hill, Banjara Hills, CCS and Jeedimetla in Hyderabad. The Machavaram police started investigation into the case after they received a complaint from one Medarametla Narayana.The accused promised him to bring investments from big companies to expand his company Micro Cast Pvt Limited.

They have collected lakhs of rupees posing themselves as close confidants of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.The Machavaram police on Sunday arrested Narra Krishna Rao, Narukonda Indrani and Cherukuri Srilatha, natives of Nandigama in Krishna district. The Machavaram police started investigation into the case after they received a complaint from one Medarametla Narayana.The accused promised him to bring investments from big companies to expand his company Micro Cast Pvt Limited. He paid Rs 33 lakh to the trio and after getting the money they started to avoid the calls from Narayana. This is not the first time that the trio had cheated people in the name of investments, loans and jobs. The police came to know that the trio was operating with similar modus operandi since 2004 and many cases are pending against them in Jubilee Hill, Banjara Hills, CCS and Jeedimetla in Hyderabad. The gang has been operating from Hyderabad. About four months ago, some victims approached the Krishnalanka police after losing money to the trio.The police suspect the number of victims is likely to grow and the money they have collected would run into crores.
