Donning traditional attire in eye-catching colours, members of Maheswari Mahila Samiti took out Shoba Yatra from Pandurangapuram temple to Hawa Mahal on Beach Road, marking Gangaur festival on Sunday. Secretary of Maheswari Mahila Samiti Nisha Periwal said that the festival symbolises the worship of Lord Siva and his consort goddess Gauri (Parvathi). President of Maheswari Mahila Samiti Kiran Jhawar, among other members attended the programme. Several Rajasthani families made their way to Hawa Mahal to witness a row of cultural programmes presented by the members of community associations.
