The participants felt the need for a concerted effort in all 13 districts involving youth, students and women in a big way to highlight the precarious condition the State was facing owing to the misrule of the TDP and the BJP. They felt that the movement should reach its climax before April 5, the last day of the budget session. “We should stage rallies, meetings candlelight protests, and other agitations to counter the BJP campaign which is planning to launch a bus yatra to highlight the Centre’s role in developing the AP. Samiti convener Chalasani Srinivas said AP was not asking for anything new but the promises made on the floor of the House while dividing the unified State in 2014. “Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh read out six promises.
