‘SCS will help spur growth of A.P.’

Lakshmi Narayana has said AP needs Special Category Status (SCS) for it to grow. Mr. Lakshmi Narayana visited the Sampath Vinayaka temple at Asilametta here and offered prayers on Saturday. On the speculation that he would join Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party (JSP) after retirement from service, he denied the rumours on joining any political party. He, however, said he would announce his political plans after a detailed study on the current problems of the State. Earlier, the former CBI Joint Director visited free artificial aids distribution camp, conducted under the aegis of the trust, at Mangalapalem near Kothavalasa, and distributed aids to the 20 physically challenged beneficiaries.
