‘India spearheading foreign policy with new approaches’

Director of Centre for Policy Studies A. Prasanna Kumar said India was spearheading its foreign policy with new approaches and strengthening relationship with other countries. Raghavan elaborated on the Development Partnership Administration (DPA) as a part of the foreign policy lecture series on ‘Development assistance in India’s foreign policy’ organised by Ananta Centre and Andhra University held on Saturday. Link roads“It also constructed link roads in Nepal and 218-km long link road in Afghanistan as well, among several other projects including Salma dam. He said India started DPA in 2012 and in line with this constructed hydro electric project in Bhutan. Further he said though China was also taking up similar projects, they were built with conditions whereas India did such projects unconditionally.
