DCIL declares 20% dividend

The DCIL declared a dividend of 20% amounting to ?5.6 crore and the government would gets ?4.11 crore. The earnings per share (EPS) was put at ?5.94 as against the ?2.54 during the previous fiscal year. The total income was put at ?61,211.90 lakh as against ?59,896.55 lakh in the previous fiscal. The DCIL has spent ?109.42 lakh on corporate social responsibility (CSR) works during the year, though the targeted amount was only ?107.03 lakh, the release said. The profit after tax of the PSU was put at ?1,664.27 lakh when compared to the ?712.26 lakh of the previous financial year while the operational income was ?59,187.36 lakh as against ?58,514.17 lakh. Income from other sources was ?2,024.54 lakh as against 1,381.78 lakh. The total income was put at ?61,211.90 lakh as against ?59,896.55 lakh in the previous fiscal. Dredging contract The DCIL has bagged a dredging contract for Kolkata and Haldia ports during the year for a period of five years on a tender basis. It’s executing the maintenance dredging at several ports including Visakhapatnam and also in Bangladesh. The DCIL has spent ?109.42 lakh on corporate social responsibility (CSR) works during the year, though the targeted amount was only ?107.03 lakh, the release said.
