Jnana Bheri participants to get incentives says Ganta

Visakhapatnam: Jnana Bheri programme, which was originally scheduled to be held on August 20 and was postponed due to the sudden demise of former Prime Minister AB Vajpayee, will be conducted on August 23, said human resource development minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. Jnana Bheri is expected to give an impetus to our efforts to make the state a knowledge hub,” said Srinivasa Rao.Earlier, Srinivasa Rao inspected the arrangements for the programme being made at the AU Engineering College Grounds.

Visakhapatnam: Jnana Bheri programme, which was originally scheduled to be held on August 20 and was postponed due to the sudden demise of former Prime Minister AB Vajpayee, will be conducted on August 23, said human resource development minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. He released Jnana Bheri posters here at the Andhra University senate hall on Monday.Speaking on the occasion, Srinivasa Rao said that chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and eminent personalities from various fields will participate in the programme to inspire students to work towards achieving global standards. “Rs 10 crore will be given to each district for follow-up initiatives after Jnana Bheri is conducted. Each student will get a participation certificate. Jnana Bheri is a first-of-its kind initiative in the country. We have decided to give incentives to participants and a committee will decide on the kind of incentive to be given,” said Srinivasa Rao.He explained minute-to-minute schedule of the programme planned for August 23. “The Jnana Bheri App can also be used to get feedback from the students. Jnana Bheri is expected to give an impetus to our efforts to make the state a knowledge hub,” said Srinivasa Rao.Earlier, Srinivasa Rao inspected the arrangements for the programme being made at the AU Engineering College Grounds.
