Andhra University alumni takes charge as Waltair railway ADRM in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Vizag based Andhra University alumni P Ramachandra Rao, who is also an officer of Civil Services, Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) of 1997 batch, assumed the charge of Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) of Waltair Division of East Coast Railway on Wednesday.Now Waltair Division have two such cadre officials which is first time in the history of the division.Ramachandra Rao completed his graduation in Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Andhra University. He joined Railways in 1998 and had worked in various capacities in erstwhile Composite South Eastern Railway at Chakradharpur, Ranchi, Kharagpur Workshop and over East Coast Railway at Khurda Road & Waltair in open line as well as in construction.Prior to assuming the charge as ADRM of Waltair Division he was Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (Construction), East Coast Railway.
