With an aim of giving the youth across the State a voice in the current political scenario, 25-year-old Naga Sravana Kilaru has launched an initiative ‘Yuva Galam’ to draft a ‘State youth policy’, along with a manifesto. In this way, the political parties will see the youth as a powerful voice and their will be an emphasis on their demands,” said the engineering graduate. With a team of 20 volunteers, Mr. Kilaru started the journey of ‘Yuva Galam’ on August 12, marking the International Youth Day, at Ichhapuram in Srikakulam district, the northern tip Andhra Pradesh. At present, Mr. Kilaru is visiting colleges in Visakhapatnam.
