The southwest monsoon has been active over Rayalaseema and normal over coastal Andhra Pradesh. Several areas across the State received rainfall on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday, Mentada in Vizianagaram district recorded 6 cm of rainfall, the highest in the State. In Rayalaseema, Dharmavaram, Kambadur and Anantpur received a rainfall of 6 cm each. Fishermen cautioned Meanwhile, the Cyclonic Warning Centre (CWC) here has cautioned the fishermen against venturing into sea.
