Collector Pravin Kumar on Tuesday called upon the RTC drivers to adopt the best practices to achieve zero accident record and thereby earn the goodwill of the passengers. ACP (traffic) K. Prabhakar Rao RTC (Vizianagaram) ED S.A. Ansari and RTC Regional Manager G. Sudesh Kumar were also present. Participating as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of a skill training workshop for drivers organised by the Visakhapatnam Region of APSRTC here on Tuesday, the Collector appreciated the government-run corporation for conducting refresher training for drivers and involving their family members in the programme. Refresher courseAppreciating the RTC for attaining several records at the national-level for accident-free service by drivers, Deputy Transport Commissioner S. Venkateswara Rao said the drivers should update themselves with the latest technologies adopted by bus manufacturers and improve their driving skills.
