Chamber leaders join YSRCP

YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy greeting people during his padayatra in Bheemunipatnam constituency on Wednesday. more-in Representatives of the Rajahmundry Chamber of Commerce (RCC) on Wednesday joined the YSR Congress Party in the presence of party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, the RCC leaders said they were fed up with the TDP rule as no section benefited under it. A few Congress and TDP leaders from G. Sigadam mandal in Srikakulam district too joined the YSRCP in the presence of Mr. Jagan. Earlier, a large number of people turned up to meet the Opposition leader at his overnight camp at Mucherla village before he resumed his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Visakhapatnam district. Students’ charge Mr. Jagan toured various mandals in the Bheemunipatnam constituency on the 266th day of his walkathon. At Gidijala, students and teachers of various colleges told Mr. Jagan that vacancies were not being filled by the government. They hoped that Mr. Jagan would do justice to them on coming to power. The teachers alleged that the government was apathetic to their problems. At Allipuram village, Kapu youth hailed the announcement of Mr. Jagan that the YSRCP would allocate ?10,000 crore to the Kapu Corporation at the rate of ?2 crore per year if elected to power. Kapu youth from Rajamahendravaram ural participated in the yatra. K. Demudu, a physically challenged person from Vemagottipalem, alleged that the government was not implementing the Act brought in by the Centre in 2016 for the welfare of the physically challenged persons.
