Sambasiva Rao in Visakhapatnam on Thursday more-in A Chinese trade delegation which visited the city on Thursday evinced interest in investing in Andhra Pradesh in general and Visakhapatnam in particular. The team consisting of Li Xiaoyang, CEO of Xixia Longcheng Metallurgical Co. Ltd, Huang Guotuan, CEO, Xixia Longcheng Special Materials Co.Ltd, Feng Junwei, GM, Business Department of Henan Longcheng Group along with Indian consultant for Xixia Longcheng K.V. Satyanarayan met G. Sambasiva Rao, president, AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF), to discuss various business opportunities. During the interactive meeting, company heads of Henan Longchengh Group Co. Ltd. based in Xiancheng, Xixia County, Henan, China, evinced interest in exploring business opportunities by associating with the State government and local bodies for setting up manufacturing units for downstream products required for steel plants, metallurgical units, copper granules and others. They said that the products manufactured by their units could be supplied to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and other steel plants in and around Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal. Apart from establishing their units, they wanted to develop strategic partnership with local industries. Welcoming the team, Mr. Sambasiva Rao promised wholehearted support on behalf of the chambers to facilitate business partnerships in Visakhapatnam and other parts of the State. Henan Longecheng Group Co. Ltd, established in 1988 with annual sales of over $4 billion, is the largest manufacturer of metallurgical equipment and materials in China with more than 20 patents on mould plate.
