Visakhapatnam Steel donates Rs 30 lakh for Cyclone Titli relief

VISAKHAPATNAM: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (popularly known as Vizag Steel), said on Thursday that it has donated Rs 30 lakh to the Andhra Pradesh CM's Relief Fund towards providing relief to those affected by Cyclone Titli in Srikakulam district Pradosh Kumar Rath, CMD of RINL, presented the cheque to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Palasa, Srikakulam district, on Wednesday night.Rath informed Naidu that apart from the Rs 30 lakh, given as part of RINL's corporate social responsibility requirement, the workers of RINL will be contributing Rs 65 lakh for cyclone relief, the statement said.
