VISAKHAPATNAM: YSR Congress Party president Jaganmohan Reddy, for the first time, blamed AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for the knife attack on him at Visakhapatnam airport on October 25 .During a speech at his Praja Sankalp Yatra at Parvathipuram in Vizianagaram on Saturday, his first since the attack, Jagan said Naidu was behind it. "The conspiracy angle involving Naidu is very evident. The sequence of events right from the non-functioning CCTV cameras at Vizag airport from the day the padayatra entered Vizag to the withdrawal of consent to CBI from operating in AP prove this," he said. "Naidu and his henchmen are perpetrators of this conspiracy."TDP leaders were quick to rubbish Jagan's claims. "He is trying to gain the sympathy of people by playing the victim card. Instead of cooperating with the police, he is casting aspersions on them," said minister for mines Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao. Jagan, however, said the attack will not cow him down. "I left for Hyderabad after first-aid at Vizag airport and went straight to the hospital. The state police force provides security and gives the CM all the details from time to time."
