KC Deo quits Congress to join nonBJP bloc

VISAKHAPATNAM: Former Union minister and Congress party veteran Kishore Chandra Deo officially resigned from the party on Saturday night. “The party leadership here (at the Centre), has refused to pay any heed to my view regarding the party in the state,” KC Deo said. When asked if he would return to active politics, K C Deo observed, “I will get in touch with all non-BJP parties including the TDP and my old friend Sharad Pawar, to make a decision.” He said he would get in touch with all non-BJP parties and decide upon his next political step.The six-term parliamentarian apparently resigned over a slew of reasons, including the ‘total decimation’ of the congress party in the state.
