WARANGAL: Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Hospital — the biggest government hospital in Warangal — is reeling under equipment crisis and staff crunch.Officials at the Hospital Development Society (HDS) held meetings with G Padma, chairperson, Zilla Parishad, Dr Sandhya, principal of Kakatiya Medical College , and Dr B Srinivasa Rao, superintendent of MGM hospital, along with Red Cross to discuss several issues. He also promised Rs 2.30 crore budget, which has been pending from Aarogyasri, will be released soon to the MGM hospital. Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar , MLA, Warangal West, also declared that he will give ?25 lakh for ambulances with ventilator facilities to pick up patients. He advised HDS to arrange a meeting every three months for the development of the hospital. He instructed doctors and members of HDS to work together to get a good outcome from the hospital and to ensure the well-being of the needy.
