Section of north Indian voters pledge support to TDP

Viskhapatnam: North Indian voters in Visakhapatnam seem to be rooting for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in a number of assembly constituencies in the city. We request the TDP chief to form a north Indian’s welfare corporation for the welfare of the poor in our community. TDP will retain power in the state and we hope that the welfare corporation becomes a reality,” he added.There are over 1.2 lakh north Indian voters in Visakhapatnam and most of them reside in the Visakhapatnam West, Visakhapatnam North, Gajuwaka and Visakhapatnam South assembly segments. On Sunday, the members of the north Indian community participated in PVGR Naidu’s (Gana Babu) electoral campaign.On Saturday, Steel Association of Visakhapatnam, members of the Marwari community and Steel Exchange Limited organised an interactive session with TDP’s candidate for Visakhapatnam parliamentary Seat, M Sri Bharat. Sunil Kumar Balasaria and prominent personalities of Marwadi community, Suman Sarogi and Hari assured Sri Bharat on behalf of all North Indians in Visakhapatnam to extend support to Bharat and the TDP in the upcoming elections The TDP chief seems to be wooing Hindi speakers by inviting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) founder and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee to campaign for TDP.
