CBSE results: AP surpasses national average

The national average pass percentage in Friday’s results stood at 99.37%, with girls outshining boys. Andhra Pradesh is one of the few states to have outperformed the national average in results.

As the results for CBSE came out may were joyed while other hoped for better marks.

Students of Andhra Pradesh made their mark in the CBSE class 12 exam results released on Friday. Of the 6,250 CBSE students, 6,236 have cleared the exams, registering a pass percentage of 99.78%.

A total of 99.96% girls and 99.65% boys passed the exam. This represents a 7% increase compared to last year’s 92% pass percentage in Andhra Pradesh.
