Air cyclonic circulation forms over Bay

A private meteorological organisation, Skymet, in its observations predicted that the cyclonic circulation developed in the southeast Bay of Bengal showing positive signs of intensification and development of a low pressure area during next 24 to 48 hours. VISAKHAPATNAM: An upper air cyclonic circulation has formed over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean about 1.5 km to 3.1 km above mean sea level.In its weather forecast, the IMD said the conditions are becoming favourable for the southwest monsoon to advance under the influence of the upper air circulation into some more parts of southwest, southeast and eastcentral Bay of Bengal in the next two to three days. Skymet said the system is likely to move towards Odisha and Andhra coast around May 27. and bring good rains.
