On Monday at around 3.46 p.m. six assailants apparently from Jharkhand or Chhattisgarh had barged into the businessman’s house and brutally stabbed him.

Alok Dutta, joint secretary of a RWA on the Beach Road, said security services have been told to post younger men as guards in three shifts and the CC TV cameras that were not working have been repaired. “We will be installing about 24 cameras in building and have already placed the orders to beef-up the security system and the guards have been instructed to screen new faces before allowing them to enter,” he said. Vital surveillance tool CC TV has become a vital security and surveillance tool and the police could get main clues in Vikram’s murder case from the CC TV footage in the apartment complex.
