Acid attack rattles police, doctors in Visakhapatnam

The late night acid attack on Balaji Bhushan Patnaik, a paediatrician at a corporate hospital, on Tuesday has shaken the police and the medical fraternity. According to initial assessment, the attackers reportedly poured a concentrated form of nitric acid. Suffers severe burnsWrithing in pain, the doctor was moved to the hospital where he works, and according to doctors in the hospital, he suffered severe acid burns on the face and his eyes might be in danger.
