Teaches Day: PV Sindhu hates her teacher Gopichand, Here's why
The push, the constant barking and pain that it brings makes the sportsperson often hate their coaches and teachers, but their purpose is not to break you instead prepare you for the challenges that lie ahead.
Teachers, they are special, we might hate them for pushing us, giving sleepless night but at the end of the day, it’s because of their dedication and believe in us, we are able to reach great heights. Similarly, the Olympic silver medalist decided to pay tribute to her mentor Pullela Gopichand for guiding her journey to success.
Pullela Gopichand is one of the main factors in helping PV Sindhu become a household name in India and in the world of badminton, and it’s genuinely refreshing to know that Sindhu understands the importance and value of her mentor which was evident in a new advert for a sports drink.
The short advert, which is co-produced by Sindhu reminds people why they must celebrate those who keep pushing them. The film focuses on the journey to success is a difficult one, filled with endless hurdles and during such time there is always a force pushing us forward, to make sure the ultimate goal can be achieved.

The push, the constant barking and pain that it brings makes the sportsperson often hate their coaches and teachers, but their purpose is not to break you instead prepare you for challenge that lies ahead, many fail to see the intent behind their toughness, however, on Teachers’ Day, even those who hate cannot help but attribute their success to the once who have stood behind them.
Gopichand and many alike are blessings, without them, athletes cannot reach the heights they have, coaches are important and deserve equal credits for the success.
