India takes on Australia in the second ODI of five-match series, they lead 1-0 after their dramatic win in the rain affect match in Chennai. Here are few interesting facts ahead of the crucial match. 

•  The home of India cricket Eden Gardens will be hosting the 13th bilateral series game. The first one was played back in February 1987 in which noisy neighbor Pakistan defeated India by 2 wickets while the last ODI played in the iconic ground was in January 2017 and once again the host was on the losing end, this time India lost to England by 5 runs.
• Australia’s love affair with famous Eden Gardens dates back to 1987 as it’s the year when the Aussies clinched their first World Cup in this ground.  The visitors have played two ODI matches in Kolkata, winning both while India have played 20 matches, winning 11 and losing 8 matches.
• Prior to this, the only time India faced Australia in One Day International here was in November 2003. It was the final of a tri-series, which involved New Zealand as the third team. Australia put up 235 for 5 in their 50 overs, and went on to beat the Rahul Dravid-led India by 37 runs.
• Australian captain Steve Smith is set to play his 100th ODI. The skipper will be 27th Australian to achieve the feat. Ricky Ronting who played 374 ODIs lead the list for most appearance in one day international.
•   When Virat Kohli will reach 23, he will be the sixth highest run-scorer for India in ODIs. He will surpass Yuvraj Singh’s tally of 8,609 runs.
