India has dominated the series without playing their best cricket, runs have come at the top and the lower middle order but the problem lies in the number 4. Manish Pandey has yet to justify his selection in the playing eleven with a poor outing in two matches, thus KL Rahul remains in contention.

While for visitors, their batsmen have to start producing, they have been disappointing so far particularly against wrist spin. Both team's bowling department has executed in tough bowling conditions, but the difference has been Aussies failure to execute with the bat.
