Virat Kohli equals Dhoni record of consecutive wins as captain
Previously, MS Dhoni-led side went on a nine-match winning streak back in February 2008 which continued until January 2009 in the 50-over format.
India skipper Virat Kohli equalled his previous leader Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s run of nine consecutive wins after a series-clinching win over the visitors in the third One-Day International.

Previously, MS Dhoni-led side went on a nine-match winning streak back in February 2008 which continued until January 2009 in the 50-over format.
Under Kohli, India winning run started on July 6 earlier this year with an eight-wicket win over West Indies in the fifth and the last match of that series, then they took their fine form to Sri Lanka where they humiliated the home side with a 5-0 whitewash.

Under Kohli’s captaincy, India has played 38 One Day International, and the skipper has led his side to 30 victories in 38 matches with a winning percentage of 81.08.
