Headline: In Hometown Ranchi, Dhoni poses with 'Real' and 'Reel' father
The Ranchi city had even been part of the biopic that was made about Dhoni's journey named, “MS Dhoni: The untold story”. Several real-life characters from the movie are an uncanny reflection of each other but the character of Dhoni's father performed by Anupam Kher still stands out.
After a successful ODI series, Team India's focus will now shift to the T20s and the first match played at none other than Ranchi- Hometown of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It will once again provide an opportunity for the home crowd to witness their star playing just in front of them and maybe even a chance for a selfie or autograph.

Kher had been on a visit to Ranchi for an upcoming film promotion as Mahi invited him to his place and acted the perfect host. But the most interesting and eye catchy moment came when Dhoni posed with his reel and real life fathers together, looking happy as ever.

Kher later thanked Dhoni and his family for the warmth and hospitality.Anupam Kher also talked about Ziva (Dhoni and Sakshi’s daughter) and her talents.

MS Dhoni played a crucial role in the first ODI against Australia which set the tone for the rest of the series as India went on to defeat Australia 4-1 and grab the pole position in ICC ODI rankings.
