Shameful: Rock thrown at Australia team bus after win over India
Players and staff were travelling from Busapara Stadium back to their team hotel in the eastern city when the rock pierced the window on the right-hand side of the bus. According to reports, the rock was believed to be roughly the size of a cricket ball and ended up inside the bus.
Rivalry in sports is very important, it fuels passion but sometimes fans take things a little seriously. Last night after Australia defeated India in the second T20I in Guwahati, the locals weren’t pleased as a rock was thrown at the visitor’s team bus, shattering one of the windows.
Arron Finch tweeted, 'Pretty scary having a rock thrown through the team bus window on the way back to the hotel!!'
