Anthem for 2018 Indian Premier League Launched
The anthem has been released in five different languages - Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada and Telugu across all platform (TV, radio, and digital).
The cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) launched its anthem for the 2018 edition on Monday. The 11th edition of the Indian premier league starts on April 7 with the firsts match between defending champions Mumbai Indians against Chennai Super Kings.
The BCCI and Star India have collaborated for the first time to come up with the most creative anthem for the campaign this year, which puts a spotlight on the battle against the rival in the World T20 cricket. They have named the anthem ‘Best vs Best.

The Video ‘Best vs Best’ embrace the spirit of IPL, in which the tournament brings together the best in the game, setting up a battle against the best rival to showcase their prowess.
The anthem has been released in five different languages - Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada and Telugu across all platform (TV, radio, and digital).
The talented ensemble of artist worked on the anthem are – South African filmmaker Dan Mace, music director Raajeev V Bhalla and vocalist Siddhart Basrur, who sung the anthem in five different languages.
Rahul Johri, CEO of BCCI also said: “Given that we are now ready to embark on the next chapter for the Indian Premier League with the start of the 11th edition, the BCCI, in collaboration with Star India, has worked on co-creating a large multi-media campaign focussing on the ‘Best vs Best’.”
“We hope this campaign spurs the non-cricket viewing public to engage more deeply with the IPL 2018 like never before,” he added.
