IPL 2021: DC Captain Rishabh Pant Is Ready To Take On Mahi Bhai
Pant has chalked out a strategy for the first match against Chennai Super Kings. He said that 'with the help of things learned from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, I will pull new tricks up my sleeves against Chennai Super Kings'.
IPL Side Delhi Capital's New Captain Rishabh Pant is all set to take on his master Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the first match against CSK. DC shared an interview of their new captain on Twitter where
Rishabh Pant said, 'My first match as captain will be against Mahi Bhai (Mahendra Singh Dhoni). It will be a good experience for me because I have learned a lot from him with my own experiences as a player.

Pant said that he is excited to captain the IPL for the first time. He said - Our first match is from Mahi Bhai's team. This match will be special for me and I will get to learn a lot from them. I have learned a lot from them in the past. Whatever the experience of playing my IPL so far, I will try to use it against CSK.
Pant said that the team has benefited from Ricky Ponting being the coach. Ponting has a lot of cricket and captaincy experience. A lot has been learned from them. I hope we will be able to win the title this time with his guidance and the support of other teammates.
"We have never won a title and we will try to win it this year for our fans, we have been doing well for the past few years and our preparations are in full swing this year too. He said that everyone is ready to give their 100 per cent, the atmosphere of the team is very good and as a captain, this is what you want", he also added.
