India vs England: ECB announce a marathon 5-match series in 2018
Test cricket is considered the most important format and gets a significant viewership among the English. India plays England in a marathon 5-match test series next year and it will be interesting to see how the Indian team fares in English conditions and also a major test for captain Virat Kohli overseas.
England and Wales Cricket Board on Tuesday announced the fixtures for India’s tour of England next year. India and England will play 3 Twenty 20 matches, followed by 3 One Day Internationals and conclude with 5 test matches. After 1959, it will be the second time that Team India will play a five-match test series in England. India will play Tests at Edgbaston, Lord's, Trent Bridge, the Rose Bowl and The Oval.
"A five-Test series against India is at the heart of next summer's international programme," said ECB chief executive officer Tom Harrison

The last time India won a Test series in England was nearly 10 years ago in 2007. India, led by Rahul Dravid at the time, won the second Test, courtesy a nine-wicket haul by Zaheer Khan and strong performances by Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkarand Wasim Jaffer with the bat.
