On This Day: Yuvraj Singh became 1st player to hit six 6s in a T20 match
Yuvraj became the first player to hit six 6s in a T20 and 2nd ever player in international cricket to achieve the unique feat when he hammered England's Stuart Broad in ICC World T20 , 2007 held in South Africa.
September 19, 2007 is a historic day in Indian cricket as Yuvraj Singh hammered Stuart Broad for six 6s in a single over. Yuvraj became the first player to hit six 6s in a T20 and 2nd ever player in international cricket to achieve the unique feat. When Yuvraj came to bat, only 20 deliveries were left in the innings, but that was enough for him to complete a half century.

Yuvraj ended up with 58 runs from 16 balls and got dismissed in the final over of Andrew Flintoff’s bowling. But till then the damage had been done as Yuvraj’s onslaught helped India pile up a massive 218 runs. England ended up falling short by 18 runs
South Africa’s Herschelle Gibbs had been the first batsman to score six 6s in international cricket when he smashed Netherland bowler, Daan van Bunge all over the park.
